Since its inception, the Foundation has been dedicated to nurturing local cultural development and cultivating emerging artistic talents in Taiwan. Through the Grand View Upcoming Artists Awards, the Foundation encourages young artists with creative potential and passion to sustain their visual arts momentum while enhancing their capabilities in art criticism and discourse. Our mission is to foster exceptional artistic talent and expand the influence of culture and the arts. As of 2020, we have supported over 67 young Taiwanese artists and art critics through 8 editions of the awards and 19 touring exhibitions.

In 2019, the Foundation began actively promoting the integration of crafts into daily life, aiming to raise public awareness of Taiwan’s craft heritage and the intricacies of craftsmanship, thereby encouraging people to cherish and incorporate these crafts into their everyday routines. Under the theme “Crafting Quality of Life,” the craft project promotes its vision through lectures, salons, events, and craft-focused study tours. Additionally, we collaborate with educational institutions on craft talent cultivation programs. As of 2020, 17 such events have been successfully organized.
