Grand View International Art Village is dedicated to nurturing both local and international artistic talent. Through artist exchanges and residency programs, it builds an art network that transcends borders. With diverse initiatives such as residencies, exhibitions, salons, workshops, and festivals, the Art Village promotes arts and culture, brings together talents from various disciplines, and fosters an environment where art coexists with nature and integrates into everyday life.

Target

1. Basic Requirements

  • Open to all academic backgrounds; preferably junior/senior undergraduate or graduate students
  • Passionately in love with art—almost incurably so
  • Willing to take on challenges and enjoy the sense of achievement from building something from scratch
  • Highly cooperative, focused, and able to commit consistently; a strong team player with a great sense of responsibility
  • Must have basic English proficiency and feel comfortable with listening, speaking, reading, and writing

2. Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in a second or third language beyond English
  • Special skills or strengths (e.g., photography, design, active social media engagement, etc.)

Program Overview

I. Internship Guidelines

Internship Period (Second Semester): To be announced
Working Hours: Minimum 24 hours per week (equivalent to three full working days)
Working Schedule: 09:00–17:30 (Lunch break: 12:00–12:30)
Location: Hongmei International Art Village

  • Weekend support for exhibitions and special events may be required. These hours will be counted toward internship hours, and compensatory leave may be granted for overtime.
  • This is an unpaid internship.

II. Important Notes

  • All tasks will be guided by full-time staff. Interns are expected to uphold professionalism with integrity, responsibility, enthusiasm, and a proactive attitude. The Art Village reserves the right to terminate the internship if performance is deemed unsuitable.
  • Interns must report to assigned locations as scheduled for learning and collaboration. Absence without valid reason for three times will result in termination of the internship.
  • If academic credits or institutional agreements are required, please confirm with staff before the internship begins.
  • All materials and information obtained during the internship are confidential and may not be disclosed or published without permission. All internship outputs and成果 belong to the Art Village.

III. Internship Responsibilities

During the internship, each intern will work under the guidance of a mentor and participate in the daily operations and various programs of the Art Village, including:

  • Event Support: Assist in planning and executing exhibitions, talks, workshops, and other programs, gaining hands-on experience in event organization and operations.
  • Internal Meetings: Observe and participate in internal meetings to understand venue management, decision-making processes, and the workings of a cultural organization.
  • International Exchange: Opportunities to interact with artists from different countries, develop cross-cultural communication skills, and gain creative inspiration.
