Nestled in the hills of Xinpu, Hsinchu, Grand View Art Village (GVAV) is surrounded by rich ecology and diverse cultural heritage. For our Spring 2026 residency, we continue to embrace the values of “Ecological Cycles, Land Symbiosis, and Sustainable Development,” offering a creative space where art meets the natural rhythm of life.
We welcome artists working in painting, sculpture, video, performance, and installation, as well as those focused on craft, writing, or research-based projects. We encourage practitioners to explore the connections between art, environment, and community. By engaging with local residents and travelers, we hope artists will weave the memories and heartbeat of this land into their work, bringing new stories and energy to the village.
Please note: The Spring 2026 residency is available exclusively through institutional partnerships and direct invitations. We are not accepting individual applications at this time.
Centered on fostering artistic exchange and creative practice, Grand View Art Village (GVAV) invites local and international artists to explore the distinctive natural environment and cultural heritage of Hsinchu.
During the residency, a variety of programs will be organized, including art experiences, open studios, and project-sharing sessions.
Bringing together cultural practitioners from diverse regions, these activities highlight the symbiotic relationship between art and nature, as well as its integration into everyday life, reflecting the diversity of artistic expression.
