2024 Artist Residency Pilot Program II
Artist-in-Residence
Graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a major in studio art, the artist works primarily through photography, video, and performance. Their practice explores different layers of intimacy, including the delicate, intangible, yet essential relationships between the public and the private, culture and society, and the personal and the sensory.
The artist has held solo exhibitions at the NCCU Art & Culture Center and Sun Gallery. Their works and live performances have also been presented in group exhibitions and performance programs at venues including the Queens Museum and Queens Botanical Garden in New York, and the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa.
