Artist-in-Residence

Born in Hsinchu in 1985, the artist received an MFA in Fine Arts from Taipei National University of the Arts in 2013. Now working independently, she lives, works, and creates in Taipei.

Her painting practice continues to focus on the perception and capture of life experiences and memory. Through linear brushwork and a restrained color palette, she begins from observations of everyday life and unfolds the many layers of her creative subject matter. With concrete yet evocative imagery, her paintings closely interweave emotion and image.
