Gabi Nazareno (b. 1991) is a Filipina visual artist and printmaker from Bohol, Philippines, and an artist with KANTINA, an experimental art platform in the Philippines. She studied Mass Communication at the University of the Philippines Cebu and later earned a BFA in Painting from the University of the Philippines Diliman, where she received the Dominador Castañeda Award for Outstanding Thesis. Her work includes drawing, painting, and printmaking. In recent years, she has focused on expanded printmaking, using anatomical imagery to explore themes of the body, memory, society, and spirituality. Her work has been exhibited in the Philippines, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Italy, Taiwan, and Vietnam. In 2022, she represented Bohol at the “Kwentong Pilipino” Artist Exchange in Düsseldorf, Germany.
This project is part of the “2026 Asian Artists Exchange Program,” supported by the Taiwan-Asia Exchange Foundation (TAEF). Gabi is an artist with KANTINA, an experimental art platform in the Philippines, and is joining the program through a collaboration between KANTINA, Taiwan Art Space Alliance (TASA), and partner organizations across Asia.
