The event kicked off with the artists introducing their unique styles and creative philosophies. Lin Kuan-Ming combines sound and moving images to create an immersive audiovisual experience. Wei Hsin-Yen challenges the idea that art must be a physical object through her performance art; by taking walks and chatting with participants, she transforms these everyday interactions into art, documenting them through diaries and videos. Chung Yi-Chi uses everyday cardboard to carve prints, creating delicate textures that feel like a journey through an artistic time tunnel.
Following the artist talks, guests joined interactive workshops where they tried hands-on activities like video interaction, “story-exchange massages,” and water-based woodblock printing. These sessions truly showcased the beautiful blending of different art forms.
Throughout the day, guests also enjoyed a wonderful selection of Hakka rice cakes and tea. The relaxed, welcoming atmosphere sparked meaningful conversations and deepened everyone’s connection to the art.
Thank you so much to everyone who attended. We look forward to seeing you at our future art events!
